Here it is ladies and gentlemen, the shot we've all been waiting for...
A glimpse of the first 2.5 wind turbine standing in America. Bigger, and badder than any
turbines seen so far in this country.
And yes, My husband was all up in that...
haha...oops.  forgot to add the picture.

On a funny side note

While cruising in the car yesterday the song by 112 came on the radio that has the chorus 'if you're sexy and you know it clap your hands' and I looked in the backseat to find Cole clapping his hands, looking at me like, yeah, so? I'm sexy...

Hello from Paradise...

Today we left the beautiful town of Boardman and went to the
aquatic center in Hermiston for the day. That was fun. Kambree and I saw the biggest
harriest but crack either of us have ever seen in our lives emerge from the pool. We
tried to get a picture of it, but couldn't get to the camera soon enough. Sorry.
After dinner we had a horseshoe tournament. Kambree and I were
the champions, but we had to play one more short game that the guys
could win so they could make their silly winner poses for the camera. Im just training
Kambree to be a good wife. Today looks like rain...

Boardman Oregon. More like Boredman Oregon

This town is so boring.  Tomorrow I will post pictures of this fascinating little nothingville.  Yuck.  No wonder Mack is depressed....  I don't know if Ive ever been anywhere quite like this before.  Looking forward to our trip to Walmart 20 miles away tomorrow....
But on a brighter note, it was nice to have lasagna and peach cobbler cooking for my sweet baby when he came home from work today.  I'm happy to be anywhere he is.  Missing two of our kids, but its nice to be somewhat together...I love you all.

Today was a great day

Last night we stayed in The Dalles after Mack got off work.  We all tried alligator at dinner.  It was no big deal.   Just meat.  This morning after breakfast we headed up through the Columbia River Gorge for a beautiful afternoon.  It was nice to see our new home town of Hood River Oregon.  Every time I come here I remember that this is where I want to live.  So beautiful.  Lots of wineries, green mountain cliffs, waterfalls...Amazing scenery.  We stopped at a mountain man rendezvous in Cascade Locks and went to the Cascade locks dam and watched the salmon swim up the fish ladders through the dam.  I love it up here.  Not so much in this rv park that mack is staying in.  bleh...ugly..Think Wendover, with no casinos or bluffs.

pictures from the gorge..

Today we went and dug plants with Grandpa Nelson.  Well, he dug plants, I took pictures.  Had a great picture of kambree lounging in the hammock, but she deleted it because she thought she looked fat.  grrrrrr.

Yay!! The sun is shining again!!

Well, here it goes

Here I am in a very strange place in my life.  I'm still here, sitting on this stupid nest while I watch all of my babies move on, one by one out into the world.  I have to keep track of us somehow.  This is how I've decided to do it.  I hate facebook.  Its not me, its not our family, its a lot of strangers saying a lot of things that I don't really care about, interrupting who we really are.  This is just for us.  I love you all so much.
